The Finca del Sur, a single holiday dream, is situated in the middle of the nature reserve, in the sunny southwest of the island La Palma.
The individual equipment of this Finca, the beautiful pool and the whole ambience will make you quickly become a friend of the house.
With the Finca del Sur in the southwest of the island of Palma, near Fuencaliente, we offer you a very special holiday home.
Once you have spent your holidays on the Finca del Sur, this Finca on La Palma will certainly be one of the houses where you want to spend your holidays again.
The Finca del Sur is a detached holiday home. It is surrounded by an approx.3000 sqm large property with a well-kept garden.
The access road to the Finca del Sur is well tarred, so that the house can be reached without problems even on the rare rainy days.
Although almost never necessary, a roman heating is available in the bathroom and living room.
The house is situated about 200 m. above sea level. The unique view of the Atlantic Ocean and the unforgettable sunsets, which you can enjoy from the house, as well as from the pool, is a piece of holiday in itself.
The terrace below the house, which has been christened "Atlantic Cinema" by the regular guests, the rocking bed and many more seats invite you to stay on the finca.
You can also start your hiking tours directly from the Finca.
For example to the volcanoes Tenegia or St. Antonio, where the "Restaurante La Casa Del Volcán" is located. Or to the south coast to Faro, with its salt works, a restaurant, the old lighthouse with a small museum.
The fishing village Puntalaga with two small beach restaurants. Between Faro and Puntalaga is the beach Playa Nueva. The Playa de Zamora with its bathing beach and fresh water shower as well as a small fish restaurant from which one can enjoy wild romantic sunsets. Things of the daily need you find in the supermarket in the village Las Indias, which is about 500 m away. On the way there is a local tapa bar.
In Fuencaliente, the village on the main road LP2, you will find several supermarkets (incl. one SPAR), two Italian supermarkets and a small one in the village. Pizzerias, the "Restaurante Era" (good meat dishes), a nice bakery/cafe, a Panaderia Zulay palmeric bakery, the oldest bar on La Palma Parada - Bar, with its island wide known almond biscuits prepared according to old tradition....... and much more.
Above this place several hiking trails through the pine forest begin.
Las Indias can be reached with your rental car in a few minutes. Other places like Santa Cruz de La Palma or Los Llanos are only reachable by rental car.
It is our ambition to let the house keep its generosity, so that you too can experience this generosity. For this reason this holiday home is only rented to a maximum of two adults.
The Finca del Sur has a very special charisma, but you will feel it yourself when you look at the photos.
Its charm is unique, it is hard to escape. But why should one.
